Seems I'm the early bird today LOL

I am not sure what I am going to do today:  I may go to work or I may
go to church with Mom and Dad.  I know going to church is not high
on some peoples priority list but it is on mine and I'm not ashamed
of my faith.

My RNY was a gift from God and many times over the last
2 years I have gone to church and thanked God for my
complication free journey.  and yes I know you don't have to physically
go to church to Thank God but I often come out with a peaceful
feeling that I just can not find anywhere else.

This being said I now know what I am going to do today:
LOL I'll go to church then too work later this afternoon if I have too!

If I don't I think it will be back to the gym for me:
I started out there at 7:00 am yesterday and get this everyone:

I spent time at the MAC 5 out of the last 6 days:  total of about

9 hours!!!!  woot woot

we posted not only at the same time but we said pretty much the same thing... how cool is that!

You should never be ashamed of anything you believe in!   While I'm not a religious person I am a spiritual person and I understand your beliefs and would never question them.   Ya gotta have a live and let live attitude in order to find peace in this world.

NINE HOURS in the gym in one week!  is awesome.

our PCP says 1 hour of exercise per day is her requirement.  I can't wait till I'm ready to do that!

Girl you are definitely doing your thing with the gym!  I miss doing my daily threadmill walking mine conked out on us.  I need to get back into the swing of things asap. I need to build up my muscle. 
I am not ashamed of my faith either.  I love to go to church and praise God for all of my blessings. Like you said it is an amazing feeling of comfort and peacefullness that you can not find anywhere else. 

You plan to go to work today?  For a couple of hours I hope and not the entire day.

Tia will be busy working today too at home. She said she was going to give me a call when she got a break.

Good Morning Darla,

You have really done a super job at the gym. You have given me a target to aim for. I have not been on the treadmill in quite a while.

Yesterday was a lovely day! I really enjoyed seeing Lisa after such a long time time. And I can add that her home is lovely and her family, beautiful. Her grandchildren are especially delightful! Thanks Lisa for such a wonderful afternoon! I also enjoyed the time with Heather and Tia as well. Thanks for driving Tia! We did a little outlet shopping, but were really very good.

There is some sadness in my family this week. The Mom of an honorary family member passed away. While in many ways it is a blessing (she had been suffering from Alzheimer's for many years), it is still sad to go through these passages of life.

Today I have a number of errands to attend to before the upcoming week. I am supposed to resume working tomorrow. Although, I will be taking some time to attend the funeral on Tuesday. The viewing is on Monday.

Debbie I'm glad you had a good time yesterday.  I was just too busy with stuff up here to get away.

I'm so sorry for the loss of a family member.  Even when it's expected and a relief that their pain is over it's still sad.

I hope that work tomorrow works out and they've fixed the problems of no computer that you were having last week.

Happy Sunday Darla!

I hope that you enjoyed church and only spend a little bit of time at work, if any at all!

Mike's nephew spent the night with us last night.  He has 5 sisters and 1 brother and wanted some Uncle Mike "guy time".  He's got CP and is in a wheel chair but Mike rigged him up to ride on the back of one of the Harley's last night which he thought was just awesome!  He's spent most of the rest of the time playing video games.  I heard him say something about pancakes last night so I got up and did pancakes from scratch for every one. 

The rest of today will be all about packing for San Diego/L.A.  This will be my first time on a plane since surgery and I'm actually very excited to see what a different experience it is 95 lbs lighter.

Thank you Lisa for being such a wonderful hostess!  Your house is beautiful and I'm envious.  The food was delish and the company even better.  Thank you Tia for driving.  It was great spending time with Tia and Debbie and Lisa!

Afternoon ladies!

Heather what part of SD/LA will you be in?  I lived in LA for 10 years and miss it daily.  HAVE FUN!  Oh yea, and i love your updated siggy.  Shadow is OCD when it comes to licking off lotion. Just can't seem to break him of that.  Oh well..... accept and move on, right? LOL

Well, we finally made it back from the beach..... what an experience that was.  4 adults, my 2 wonderful dogs and 5 children. NEVAH AGAIN!!! lol. The 2 parents don't know how to speak, holler is their only tone.  3 of the kids are as dumb as bricks.... UGH.  I'm just grateful my dogs didn't manage to escape when the kids would leave the trailer door open. 

It rained and rained Friday...... yesterday was nice but didn't get to do as much as I hoped... and today was travel and it's storming there again anyway.

*sigh* nothing like home. LOL
