The Power of the CHEESE

Well I have discovered something recently that's been helping me actually lose a little more weight!  CHEESE!  I found that in 1 stick of string cheese, you will find 8 grams of protein!  make sure it's the low fat string cheese.  It seems there is more protein in the low fat cheese than in the full fat cheese.  I have 4 (yes 4) sticks for breakfast and lunch.  I'm full, got 32 grams of protein in per meal with dinner left to go!  The only problem is that you'll probably never have a BM ever again  LMAO!!!!!!!  However, I've consistently lost weight on that regiment than anything else.  I was hovering between 250 and 260 and staying on the 260 side for much longer than I really wanted to.  I started this regiment and now I'm 249!  This works for me.  maybe it'll work for others.  It's even vegetarian friendly LOL

LMAO!!!  I have visions of John Candy in "Uncle Buck" asking the SIL if they have a plunger because he's been having a huge craving for cheese!!!  LOL!!!!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE cheese and try to stick with the part-skim or 2%.  I found that cheese, like most foods, DOES need a little fat to help with taste, texture, etc.

Thanks for the tip!!  I've been no carbing it myself and have done really well since the beginning of July!!

BTW, you forgot to mention that the way to eat cheese is NOT mixed with a big pot of pasta!! LOL!!

Hugs,

B

Julie,

I would not recommend ex-lax or any other CHEMICAL laxative.    maybe some Colace or some Senna or some fiber tablets and lots of water/fluids...

Nessa I was just joking and no offense. I was going on the old saying that to much Chesse will back you  up. Thats all. I do know that this an open forum and any help for anyone is great be it serious or be it funny. We all need some humor instead of tears. I do so appreciate any advise I can get... I am sure this will help others who might have a stoppage in the plumbing department. LOL. Have a great day.. Julie

Julie,

There isn't any need to apologize. Sometimes people need to stop being so uptight about everything.  I found it hilarious and understood you clearly.  I just avoid it.. The best bet to go trust me!

How are you holding up sweetie? How is your Mom coming along?

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
