Update on grammom

On the phone with Helen as we speak.  They have to give her a blood transfusion today before they send her home.  It seems that her primary care doctor didn't tell the surgical staff or Helen that her triglycerides were up around 5000 and her cholesterol was 700!!!!!  so they are going to do a transfusion today to see if that will get those numbers down and that she has some strength.  She's getting around a lot better today.  She said she's not in much pain but she's still on pain meds so that's probably why.  She said to be prepared for her arrival to the board next week LOL

I told her that her friend sounded nice on the phone and she told me that she'd come here and kick my ass because he belonged to her LOL

This poor woman has been through the wringer!!!!!!  I'll give her a call later.

OMG are those numbers for real? They are way to high. I do hope she gets well soon and home to recover. I am keeping her in my thoughts and prayers...
