Surgeons out of Holy Cross Hospital

Hey MD fam.  I am thinking of having a revision from LapBand to RNY.  Looking for a GOOD surgeon not too far from where I live (Bowie, md) .  I'm scared because this is a more seriouse surgery I will or may need to make more frequest trips to see my doctor.  Am I overly conserned about that or is that reasonable?

Holy Cross is the closest hospital I know of that has bariatric surgery, but I was also considering Dr. S at Bayview .

Any info appreciated.

Dr. Kuldeep Singh, I believe did do a VSG on someone who had the lapband previously.  He operates out of the St. Agnes Hospital in Catonsville.    Also at St. Agnes is Dr. Andrew Averbach and Dr. David Von Ruden. 

Yes I have to Agree St Agnes has the best surgeons in Maryland Dr Singh and Averbach are both great and very nice men.

Good luck with finding a surgeon there are plenty of good ones out there.  I of course recommend my surgeon Dr. David Von Reuden at St. Agnes not terribly far from Bowie. 

There is a Dr. Barry Greene in Rockville That does surgery in Holy Cross Hosptial.  Pm me if you want his information.

I hear Holy Cross is a great hosptial and I think they have a list of Baratric surgeons on their website. My Gyn had reccomended a doc there by the name of Harrington. I don't know much about him but was told he is good and he has a website that you can check him out
