Thanks Tia,

Yes he is so into his DSi right now and appreciating it so much more because he had to trade in his old and sell his go kart to get it, so now he really understands what it means to spend the money!

Yes, I beleive he knows how much he's loved and appreciated and I know how much he appreciates me as well. We were truly a match made by God and he is my soul mate forever.

Well this week Ive been buying the Deer Park on sale at 3.99 and I bought 4 cases on Monday and Im down to 3 right now. I try not to spend more than 4 a case but I will tell you what, if its between the Deer Park and the other brands I will spend up to 5.99 sometimes. I cant do the store brand and will not do aquafina or dasani...hate them both....I prefer Poland Springs but locally I can only find it for 7 bucks unless its on sale at which time I buy out the store...lol...you know this would be a good question of the day...what brand of water do you prefer and how much do you spend on it...

I actually buy the Sam's Choice at Walmart - it's less than $4 a case.  But I'm right there with you on the Dasani, although I can do the Aquafina.

I thought it was great when he said that as long as his fingers and brain were busy, he was at peace!  Very profound for such a young man!

He's very much a homebody - if I want to punish him, all I have to do is take him to Walmart or Target!!  He HATES that, even when I include a trip down the toy aisle!!

He's my good boy - I never thought I could love two people so much who weren't mine!

Morning Maryland peeps....Im late again as usual. I was busy playing FarmTown and coaching Marty for his interview today. This isn't the dream job interview but a good one nonetheless, so I hope he does well. Anyway, here are mine for today:

1.  Daniel finally got connected to the internet from his DSi and now I dont have to worry about him jumping in my chair everytime I go to the bathroom...ok that was a silly one but still im thankful.

2. That even though Marty has a lot of job interviews coming up, he still has a very very good job right now. He is such a wonderful husband and has been the best provider/father/husband for so many years and has sacrificed so much of himself whenever needed. He truly deserves a great dream job and I just know God will bless him with one.

3.  My mom, bless her heart, called me and told me to come get some birthday money for Kate even though her bday isnt until next month, so she can go do some clothes shopping for back to school. That woman is so good to us and im eternally greatful that she was chosen to be mine!

4. That I bought 4 cases of water at the store the other day so I wont have to go again for another day or so. I know I know very silly but now that the kids are off sodas and drinking water we are tearing through a case a day and going to the store and lugging those things home gets old fast.

5.  While im on the subject the kids are off sodas completely and are drinking only water now!!!! This one should actually be my number one instead of number 5. And they got an appt with a nutritionist next month (thank you to their pediatrician for getting them in, I love her to pieces.)
Mellie,

my farmer friend...  I miss Facebook at work!

Girl child LOVES her DSI!

as for water....   would you consider getting a cooler and big bottles and filling the smaller bottles?

that's what we do...   I get 3 5 gallon bottles a month and I rent a cooler... it's 29 dollars.

Hey farmer nessa,

We actually had a cooler for a while but the local delivery place changed hands and now the water is really nasty. I liked my cooler though, hot and cold and yeah we used to refill the little bottles from there.

Good afternoon all my long lost friends! I have been MIA alot since my surgery......recovery has been pure hell! The last 4 days have found me going uphill......hopefully it stays that way! I have felt pretty darn good! Finally!!!!!!
I have lost around 32 pounds in about 33 days.......I am happy with that! However, as close to death as I felt, I thought it would have been more. But I am very happy with that! I cant remember the last time I lost 32 pounds in 30 days! Yay me!

Today I am grateful for:

1} my daughter being so smart & persistant!  She graduated a year early, as most of you know, and her dream was to go to the Navy......she is being sworn into the US Navy on August 25th!!!!!!!! Now I just have to find me one of those psycho mom tshirts that says "NAVY MOM"........LOL

2} family & friends......without them I would have given up already!

3} for all of you!

Good day all!

Hojo -

Lisa Z. is having a Pampered Chef party on Saturday if you're up to it.  I'm bringing Debbie and we're meeting Boxer Heather at the Queenstown Outlets, shopping a bit and then coming down to Cambridge.

Can you join us?
