Cold protein drinks???

OK,

I have a mix I like, but even after a day in the fridge,, it never really seems "cold".  Is it me, or is it just impossible to get that much solids cold?

Tom I was told (and I'm sure if I'm wrong someone more knowlegable than I am will correct me)  that you can't mix the powders up and put them back in the fridge that they lose something.....

that being said it takes me less than a minute to measure and mix... and if i want it ice cold after i mix i add ice...

There are a LOT of schools of thought on protein - does it lose its potency after sitting, how much can your body absorb at once, etc.  I'm not really sure of any of the answers, unfortunately.

If you don't have a blender, Hamilton Beach makes a really cool single serving blender for about $20 at Walmart.  Just add your ingredients, some ice, and voila - cold in an instant!!

yea you have to use alot of ice for it to get cold. i use a magic bullet and the ice gets crushed in it, tastes pretty good.

Yeah I was told the same. I used the blender add lots of ice and splenda or fruit.

Oh I have a blender, didn't know you couldn't store it though, How do they get away with RTD?
