Wonderful Wednesday ~ The Daily check in
Good Morning Maryland....
how muggy
how hot
how JULY
driving in at 6:30 this morning the car thermometer said 80 degrees outside.
it's so humid it's misting
yep it's summer in Baltimore...
23 years ago today I was in labor at Sinai hospital. my younger son was born in the afternoon by C-section. I can't believe the BABY is 23. Dang I'm old.
Today is hump day. not that there's a lot of that going on around my neck of the woods.
I've been busy getting appointments set up... Brian had an emergency physical yesterday and blood drawn twice.... He is going out of town on Monday for a week and needs to get stuff in place NOW.
So where he stands now is having an IVC filter placed on 8/11 which means RNY surgery is right around the corner for him.
we still have not gotten the official word from the insurance but it's not been two weeks yet. I may call them today.
While I'm excited for me my surgery is at least 8 weeks away and I've had thin moments in my life. He's never been thin. What a joy it is to watch someone you love so much have such delight and new experiences. I guess it's much like my non-Jewish boyfriends watching me when we went to get a Christmas tree the first time... he said "it's like being with a toddler that can talk" because I was in awe of stuff like how they net the tree... oh well we lead sheltered lives as Jewish girls I guess...
anyway my day will include researching Microsoft Live Meeting. It appears by default that I'm going to be the division guru on this. I better learn it.
at 5 I have an appointment for my hair... color at the least, color and cut at the most. this growing out stage sucks.
oh well that's all from this part of the world so far today
what's in your corner???
