O/T tv tonight
When I first started looking on the Md board, and even after I started participating, the one thing I could never figure out was the DVR thing. I was always so confused, it never made any sense to me. I kept on thinking ,what does Comcast have to do with this? Then one day I noticed that this Dr Von Rueden was the featured Bariatric surgeon, on the Md home page. Once my 2 brain cells got together, it stated making perfect sense!!!! LOL Leslie
I am going to tivo it and see if I like it. If the football player is tall dark and handsome then I am all there! lol Thanks for sharing.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Darla, Have you seen the new show on Oxygen, called " Dance your ass off"? It's all about plus size dancers who they team with dancing teachers who dance to whatever the theme is for the week. That is the 1st part, the 2nd part is all the contestants must lose weight, so after they dance, they go and weigh themselves on a giant scale. It really is something to watch. The dancers are all over 200lbs and they move like they weigh 100lbs. It's unbelievable, I am tired and sweaty jus****ching them So, if you haven't seen it, I think it;s on Monday nights on Oxygen.
So, did you watch it? I wasn't going to, and didn't at the beginning, caught it about 3/4 of the way through.
I was disgusted, sad, etc. - in part because I could SO relate to their "desperation," although I don't feel desperate anymore, and other than the occasional, "I wish I had someone special in my life," I'm actually pretty content. Their tears, real or staged, made me feel SO uncomfortable!!
What struck me though, was that MOST of them were pretty young (mid 20's to early 30's), and at the ripe old age of 42, I felt like shaking them upon hearing, "This may be my last chance to find true love!" WTF? OMG!! I hope not!! I mean, should I just shoot myself now because I'm alone again and over 40?
In addition to the makeup artists and stylists they have for these GORGEOUS women, here's hoping they have a therapist and life coach on retainer to help them with their serious self-esteem issues.
Really, really sad.
