It's a Joy of Cooking recipe that I've altered a tad...
Preheat oven to 375.
Beat together the following:
2 c. milk or cream (I use skim milk)
3 eggs
1/4 t salt
1/8 t. black pepper
pinch of grated or ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon chives (I use 1/2 c. diced onion)
1/2 c. diced swiss cheese
4 oz. cooked and diced bacon (I use real bacon bits)
Pour into an unprepared pie crust and bake 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. You can obviously do this crustless as well!
It makes 8 servings, so it lasts me a while since I'm the only one that eats it, so I freeze half each time.
Enjoy!
Sorry your day was hectic. I hope it is better now.
So tell me what is guinoa salad?
My headache is starting to go away. The neck is a little better.
