I got the call today. My surgery is scheduled for Oct. 20th. It seems like a long way off, but hopefully it will get here fast! At least that will give me plenty of time to plan and adjust. So, it's official!!! woohoo!

I was on vacation all last week. Unfortunately, they had the wrong phone number for me (an old number) so that's what took them so long to contact me. I left a message yesterday with my cell and they called back today. If they had the right number, it may have been booked sooner. D'oh! But I am so excited! At least this way I can make it past my daughter's 2nd birthday on Oct 7th. The only bad news is, I am supposed to go to a wedding on Oct. 24th. I doubt I'll be feeling well enough that soon. I'm sure the time will fly by. It gives me plenty of time to prepare too! Time to find all the free protein samples I can get lol.
