3 things for Tuesday

You stole my sleep...LOL!  So, I'm feeling your pain today! 

I am not in a good mood today, so I'm reaching here.

Today, I'm trying to be grateful...

1.  For making it home in one piece yesterday.  I had to drive home from Newport News in the rain and it was a miserable drive after a miserable day down there.

2.  That Tia is having a great time at the beach...loved the picture she sent me poolside...even though I am thoroughly jealous!

3.  That I'm supposed to go see Tia for the day on Thursday and so far the chance of showers/thunderstorms is for the evening, so hopefully we can get some pool time in.  If not, there's always retail therapy!

Heather I thought you went on a ship? I was thinking that was a cruise. Sorry if I was wrong and I wish you could go on a cruise like to OC to see TIA. .Maybe that would help your mood.. Oh I was on a ship alright...the USS Enterprise.  A Navy ship that is currently in the shipyards getting overhauled.  I work for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile Program testing software.  Once I test it in the lab, it is then installed on aircraft carriers, amphibious ships and at various Naval shore site.  I go to these sites after the software has been installed to be sure that it was installed correctly and that the ship can use it as it was designed.  The traveling to ships is NOT the best part of my job!

Heather, Sounds like a fun job. My older son works as a civilian for the US Coast Guard at Curtis Bay in Balt. He rebuilds engines and he travels to different locations to work on the ships as well. I am sorry I thought you were on a cruise.. I know you can only hope or maybe you have seen enough ships.

Hi Darla,

I can totally relate to that unconditional love. It is amazing how much a pet can loves us so much. 
I must say that Rocky gave me a scare the day before yesterday. He ran away from me and went towards lake. When I called him he stopped turn around looked at me and then took off again.  I was so afraid he was going to get hit by a car.  So I run after him and he keeps running. I was so upset when I finally caught him that I spanked him and said NO! You can not ever do that to me again!!!!  Then I cried in relief and he licked me until he knew I was not crying anymore!!  LOL  He is lucky I love him....
Girl you and that pilates, I am afraid to become a pretzel!  LOL
Always hydrate during and after exercising.

Today I am grateful:

1. That Rocky did not get hit by a car!

2. That I have wonderful friends that are not BULLIES!

3. wonderful July weather I am so enjoying every day!
