interesting post about nick names. Like many of the others most of my nick names were hurtful and came from peers. To this day there is only one person that call me the name they gave me and get away with it and I have not seen them in the better part of 30 yrs. One I can/will share is one given to me by an aunt when I was very small. Tho I didn't get to really know her or see here that often, I hated it when she would call me lynnie. She did that until I was about 13 and I asked her to stop.
Now every one just calls me either lori or zells-lori
zell is my bf name.
Just thought I would a brief post.

Oh I like Zells-Lori! Sorry your aunty called you Lynnie. My grandmother calls me a nickname I really dispise to this day. It is not a mean one just ugly! LOL
