As a child I was named Gigi after a spanish singer that was a a hit in 1966... My Mom said I danced to all her music while I was in the crib standing. lol So everyone at home just calls me by that name. Then when I was 5th grade I hated that no one ever knew how to ponounce my name correctly and they were s cruel at times. So I told everyone to call me Sara. That is what all of my old friends still call me to this day... After turning 35 I decided to just let everyone call me by my real name. It took a long time to get used to it...
