I saw the results of not following directions

Please, if anyone here falls into this catagory forgive me, but my sister in law, I found out this weekend had RNY many years ago. She eats like I eat now, and it shows. MORE motivation for me to succede in this lifestyle.

We were at dinner last night and my brother in law started to bring up the subject of  surgery, and his sister shut him up real quick. "Don't you remember discussing this last night" she told him. I feel bad for her, but succede or fail, I will allways be willing to help anyone through this change. Even if I fail, "it ain't gonna happen" I would use it as an example of what NOT to do.

I am so looking forward to living on Crab cakes and fish, and only a quarter cup at a time!!!! I can afford it!!!

OUCH for your SIL Tom.  You not meaning to, will probably be a painful reminder for her of what could have been.

And I LOVE your attitude about the crab, (and shrimp and lobster for us)  at  1/4 cup at a time we CAN afford it!

I hear ya Tom going to have my cousin make me some up before hospital she could sell them they are so damn good and let me tell ya i know my crab cakes, its sad when this happens as to your sisterinlaw problem, they dont tell us that in six months that ugly head of hunger can strike again but  , if your aware you can control it , i hope so anyhow. have you got your date, i seem to have forgotten?
