my get up and go got up and left!
Lap band on 6/16, all seems to be going well. Lost 21 lbs. in 28 days. Following diet nicely and keeping a log. Eating between 700-900 calories/day. Have lost all my energy. Have to keep taking breaks, even when fixing breakfast, just to keep from passing out! Has anyone else experienced this? Called my nutritionist, but it seems everyone took vacation time, now!
You can see who is covering for him. The doctor can then make any suggestions to your PCP since you are so far.
Please call and check. ok? Keep us posted.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hi Gingerma! I'm a bander - little over 6 months out.
I was dragging butt too for the first month - my body wasn't used to the 500 calories a day I was contending with. I ate a lot before I had the surgery, although it was healthy foods - just unhealthy portions. So whammo - after surgery, I shuffled so much I invented static electricity.
I turned the corner a week after I went into solids.
What food stage are you in now?
what's your fluid intake like? What are you drinking?
Are you drinking any protein shakes to supplement or to suffice as a meal?
What are you eating?
My doc is Dr. Singh; he and Averbach were in the same office, and they share the same nutritionists and Cathy Carr is the RN for the both of them, if not also for Von Ruden.

Here's another question for you, are you taking any blood pressure medications? If so, maybe you need to already back down on the mgs. I had my VSG (was banded, but scar tissue caused its need to be removed) on 6/11 and I'm honestly having some fatigue myself, especially noticeable when I'm climbing the steps. Someone on the VSG forum told me that many of them over there experienced the same thing around a month out, but it does pass. Just make sure you get in all of your protein and fluids and catch up with Dr. A or whomever is there in his absense.
