Bob Evans breakfast bowl

I saw these last night at Wallyworld. They have 30 grams of protein in a serving. The one I think I would like had eggs, bacon, cheese and potatoes. However, they had 33 grams of fat......

I was thinking about making my own and putting in containers in the freezer. I could use egg beaters, bacon, lowfat cheese and red skin potatoes. You all know that I am a true believer in eating a complex carb with my protein. Doesn't that sound delish? You could pull that out of the freezer at any time you didn't have time to cook. You could put whatever you wanted in it.

See????  There you go, already being creative!!!  That's the key to keep from being bored!!!

Your homemade version sounds delish!!  You know what, though, you could just throw all of those ingredients into a greased muffin tin and have mini-quiches.  Each one would be a serving and you could pop them in individual baggies or bowls.

I LOOOOOOVE redskin potatoes, and I'm not a HUGE potato fan!!

MUAH!!

Tia...you are just so full of ideas. But do you think that one would be enough?

I'm sure you could do two, I mean, even muffin tins (not the minis) aren't that big.  And they're chock full of protein, so as long as you don't feel overly stuffed when you're done.....

Actually, it's strange, but you know what I've discovered being carb free and really watching it now?  My pouch gets full quicker and feels tighter.  Strange, but I'll take it.  So right now, one WOULD be enough for me - although I like to have a fresh fruit chaser!!

They are AWESOME!!!! But like you said loaded with fat which would not be good. The spinach egg sandwhich at Dunkin Donuts looked GREAT but I was scared to try it because I cant tolerate any form of bread. Well someone told me it has almost 30 grams of protein and low fat. If that is the case I will try it! LOL I want to look it up though. I am so extra picky when eating out. They do have a breakfast bowl at Giant that is packed with protein but like 45 grams of carbs....MY WORD! LOL

I love those Bob Evans!  I sometimes will get them if I can find them.   If I can't find them, then I go with the Jimmy Dean Skillets - make a big batch of them and put them in small (2 cup size) tupperwares and stack in the fridge.  The JD Skillets ask for 6 eggs - but I would put in a whole dozen.

Then if I'm in a really mad rush and need to get breakfast - I'll get those breakfast bowls I think they are Jimmy Dean or Aunt Jemima - they cost like $2.38.

If I'm out and about - I get the lo-carb Hardees breakfast bowl.  Very greasy so I don't get them often, but they are chock full of protein.

Lately, I haven't done breakfast because I've been dragging butt out of bed in the mornings.
