On another board, I read about this cereal.

Serving size 3/4 cup
190 calories
2 g fat
14 g sugars
15g of protein

Go lean crunch...  has 9 g or protein for 1 cup.

It's by Archer Farms.  You can only find it at Target.  It tastes really good.

But the sugars!!!

For me anyway, it would mean getting sweaty, shakey and needing a nap!  Initially, I was told to TRY to keep it under 5-6 g of sugar, and even now, I don't usually venture too far over that.

I know!  I thought the sugars were lower than that, but this is the info I found online.  Unfortunately for me, I don't dump.  :(

I'm having such a hard time with breakfast.  The GoLean crunch has 12 g of sugar.  :(

Okay, so tell us what you're eating for breakfast - maybe we can help!  And tell us what you don't like, too.

And don't be so sure you don't dump - you may just not have reached your threshhold yet!  Trust me, you're better off NOT pushing it.

I don't like eggs.  I never have.  I was trying to eat them for breakfast, but I just can't do it.  Same with yogurt.  I was eating the greek yogurt for a while, but I don't like  yogurt.  I was eating almonds.  My nut said they are too high in calories.  She suggested I eat the Kashi hot multigrain cereal.  I don't like it.  It's like they took oatmeal and put tapioca in it.  I never thought i was a picky eater, but breakfast is a pain.  I need something easy.  I get to work at 7 am and can't cook in the morning.  I exercise before work...

I wouldn't eat that cereal... to high in sugar and probably refined grains.

Oh yeah... i hate cottage cheese and ricotta cheese.  String cheese is weird.  I should just eat some reduced fat cheese for breakfast...

I like chili, but haven't been home on the weekends to make any.

Well....let's simplify this then - what do you eat for dinner?  Because you don't HAVE to eat breakfast foods.  As long as it stays low in sugar and high in protein, the sky's the limit for you!

Does that help at all?

BTW...  i never had this problem before.  I ate oatmeal every day.  Or I'd eat a whole wheat english muffin with fat free cheese and a piece of canadian bacon.  Now, I'm more obsessed with the protein...  :(
