My first toastmasters speech

Nicole.... how wonderful. I enjoyed reading your speech and learning more about you!

Just so you know and it doesn't trip you up while you are reading it, I did find one error that you may want to correct...

You said, "as well as help others, I because a support group leader ..." in the last paragraph.

The word "because" should be "became" I believe!

Thanks for sharing this with us! I had never heard of toastmasters. I know I cannot get up in front of a room and speak, even have a hard time just introducing myself to a group.  I think this is very cool and hope you do exceptionally well.

thanks for finding the error. i wont be saying this verbatim, it is more of a guideline on what to say. toastmasters is an organization you can join to improve on your public speaking and there are many locations around the country. i would definitely suggest it. you really can learn alot!

OMG, Nicole, you look FANTASTIC!  I NEVER would of been able to pick you out of a line up. LOL  Your speech is great, you are a fab writter, and I'm sure you will be a wonderful speaker. Keep up the great work!  By the way do you have skin issues?

It is so unbelievable, something else that most of us have in common. I think we should start a club, we can call it "Saggy Sisters" LOL  Break a leg w/your speech! Leslie
