Put any spices on your watermelon or cantaloupe? I know it sounds strange, but a LOT of people do it.

We used to put salt on watermelon (and given my love of sweet and salty, I'm not sure why I don't anymore), and I know people who put black pepper on their cantaloupe.

So what about you? Do you do anything weird to your food? And I DIDN'T say TO your food!

I only put salt on my fruits when they are tart, like I love salt on my Granny Smiths and if plums and peaches aren't fully ripe.

I put salt and black pepper into my lemonade. That's how I grew up drinking it so sweet lemonade tastes weird to me.

We grew up putting salt on watermelon and cantelope, but now that just sounds gross!

On occasion I will put sugar on my tomatos. YUM! We blame my mom for that one - she's a yankee. LOL. Actually she puts butter/margarine on her PB sandwiches too, or her ham sandwich, or just about anything she can. YUCK!

Yeah, I don't do any of that anymore.

HOWEVER, when we were little, Mom used to put margarine on our pbj's - it kept the pb from sticking to the roof of your mouth! LOL!!

And Dad puts margarine on EVERY type of sandwich!!! ICK!
