MOVIE REVIEWS
LOL, I see more movies on planes than anywhere else these days....recently, courtesy of British Air, I have seen a few good ones....the best two were ANVIL! and Control - both music-related, imagine that!
ANVIL! was an absolute riot - like most of the world I had never even heard of these guys, despite still being in love with Hair Metal from the 80's - and this movie ROCKED!!!! What a great, fun, funny, sad, happy movie! If anyone out there likes rock bands, WATCH THIS MOVIE!
Control was an excellent film, but a deep and dark story, one I douobt I will watch again. It chronicled the much too short life of Ian, the lead singer from the band Joy Division - a new wave/punkish band from England. His voice was a haunting one, and so is this movie.
I'm actually flying AGAIN tonight, but no movie on this flight - just sleep!!!!
Cheerios!

I saw My Sister's Keeper w/Cameron Diaz/ Abagail Breslin & the girl who plays the oldest daughter on the show Medium. The movie was very good, The two girls were excellent! The acting from these 2 kids was unbelievable! BUTTTT.... The movie was extremely sad. You find yourself crying most of the movie. I always say that I am going to the movies to be entertained, to laugh, life is sad enough, I want to forget the sadness. I am going to try my hardest to stick with only thrillers and comedy's. I had a feeling, I should of seen The Hangover!
