Candy, when Floyd and I saw that we laughed so hard that he almost peed himself!  The scene where Will Ferrell is pounding his "beanbag" on his stepbrother's drums was SO funny!  I think I need to rent it again!

Revised to VSG (6/11/09) weighing 253...

I watched it yesterday and was slightly disappointed. It was all over the palce, there was no central theme beyond trying to be as racy as possible.

I can't even remember when I last went to the movies but I believe it was with the steps for either Happy Feet or Madagascar (the first one), so you see how long it's been.

I REALLY want to see The Proposal...I love, love love Sandra Bullock...and no, not like that!!!

Good thread. We rarely go to the movies because its usually the 4 of us and no one can go without getting popcorn and the works, so too much of an expense. Marty has been wanting to see Gran Torino and I have it reserved at the library. Kate has been begging me for a girls movie night, is the Proposal something a 15 year old can see?

We will be going to see Harry Potter next week. Will anyone else be going?

Not sure if we're going to see Harry Potter the night it comes out or if we'll hold it in reserve for something to do while we're at the beach.

I'm so excited to see it!!  I LOVE the Harry Potter series!!!

And I'm with you on the expense!  Santa usually brings me some gift cards, or if I can wait, I wait until it comes to the second run theater near us - $4 a person is a lot better than $10!

Mellie, if you live near an AMC, shows on the weekends are $5-$6 before noon. that's what we do. and I carry my big purse so snacks are covered. We just buy 1 huge drinka nd that comes with a free refill :)
