3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!

Morning (for 20 more minutes) ,

You're car again?  That sucks but I'm glad that it is back up and running.  I have to take mine in on the way home today or tomorrow to get them to fix my windsheild wiper fluid controls.  When the body work got done and everything got put back together, they reversed the wires I guess because when I try to squirt the front, it squirts the back, and vice versa.

A big WOOOHOOO and Congrats on the 8 lbs...you got me waaaay beat.  I'm stalling again!  Grrr...

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That I didn't have to drive down to Newport News today, I might have to later in the week but I have things I need to do at home...like my windsheild fluid controls.

2.  For a beautiful weekend.  I got to spend a few hours Saturday sitting out in the sun and reading.  I finished Michael Crichton's State of Fear which was a very good and thought provoking book about global warming.  I spent about an hour and a half yesterday doing the same after I got other things taken care of.

3.  For my furbabies who complete my life and make it bearable most of the time!!!

Thanks for the woo-hoo!  I'm sure my body is saying, "Hello???  Chocolate?  Anyone???"  LOL!!  But I'll take it!!  I worked HARD for it!

I'm glad you're not in NN today - hopefully, you won't have to later this week, either!!

I've got two books going simultaneously!!  And a boatload I want to pick up before I head to the beach!

Yeah, it was a bit amusing trying to figure out what was going on.  I opened the hood to see if they'd even filled the washer fluid, saw it full, tried it again and THEN noticed that it was spraying the back...DUH!!!

I am glad you had a great weekend even if you was on the run. Glad your car is fixed and you didn't have to come out of pocket for it.

I just noticed your siggy and I cracked up so loud!  

Seems like you will be have a great week at OC with friends and family. 

Today I am grateful for:

1.  My mother in law is visiting for the very first time and everything is going smoothly.  She seems comfortable and that makes me happy.

2. The beautiful weather. Gotta love it!

3. That my tomatoe  plants have tomatoes sprouting all over yay!

I'm SO glad everything's going okay with Gino's Mom.  Hopefully, she'll let you talk her into moving in with you - I know that would make Gino feel SO much better.

Mom's so afraid her tomatoes are going to be ripening on the vine while we're away!  Nothing like a sun-ripened tomato!!  YUM!!!

I'm so glad your brunch was nice - sounds like you were feeling the love!!!

The important thing I've learned about gossip is that there's two sides to every story and somewhere in the middle lies the truth!  You'd never think that cops, of all people, would gossip, but a popular saying here is, "Telegram, telephone, tele-Trooper!"  I agree, life is too short and I refuse to waste the precious time I've been given!

So glad that you don't allow yourself to get caught in the middle of bickering and back talking.  Usually that happens when you have teenagers in the house!  ROFLMBO!!!! 

Hey ladies ITA! ha ha @ Cira with teenagers in the house! That is true. I just think life is too too short. I never put myself in a "Click" or whatever I never have. I dont say ever "Well I will hang with this group of people but NOT this group or I dont like so and so in that group so I will diss that entire group" etc etc. I just cant do that its not in me. I was like that in High School too I HUNG WITH EVERYONE I didnt care what their label was. I just think we all need to stop and smell the roses. NONE of us are free from flaws but we all have one common goal on this board. And to spend time attacking one another would be such a waste of time. I mean that person could be GONE tomorrow and then everyone would feel like **** Its just not cool IMO. I dont hold grudges... I dont block people I just LIVE IN THE MOMENT...Im passing through life just like everyone else. I LOVE ALL YOU LADIES and WISHED EVERYONE GOT ALONG!!!!!

And my brunch was nice. Thank you!!! My family took off to SC and almost all my friends were away with the exception of a handful but I had my beautiful OH friends there and I LOVE THEM so much! ;o) Thanks ladies.
