2 months out

Well, today is my 2 month surgiversary...down 50 pounds and today I rode my bike for the first time in 12 years...went 6 miles and stopped only becuase hubby couldn't take it anymore (complained his butt hurt) but then we put the bikes back in the car and walked 4 more miles. I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow

Before surgery, I could barely make it the length of 4 houses on my street without being completely out of breath and in agonizing pain. Nor could I climb even one flight of stairs without having to rest and catch my breath.

I must say, my QUALITY OF LIFE has really improved and I think that's the best part of having had this surgery. The smaller clothing sizes are just a bonus!

Erin, you've hit the nail on the head!!!  The resulting health benefits are far greater than the smaller sizes (but they're cool, too!).

Keep up the good work!!

Hugs,

Tia

Great Job, that is so awesome! I love reading updates and see how wonderful people are coming along in their journey!

I also agree, regaining my health is the most amazing feeling and the smaller clothing size is just a bonus! :)

Congrats!
