DVR support group question

Hi-my name is Jess. I'm pre-op for Dr. Von Rueden. At support group Tuesday night I asked about finding local support. One of the ladies (sorry I don't remember your name) told me to look on here. Do any of you live in the Laurel/Columbia area?

Hello Jess, I live in Crofton and there is a support group here. If you are interested I will let you know when the meetings are. I think there are people from all areas here on the board. There is a good deal of support here and I have meet some nice people who are very honest. The weight for most seems to be a daily struggle. I know that most docs have groups are events at the hospitals and also a meeting is held in Glen Burnie too. Good luck and take care. Welcome to the MD board.

Hey Jess!  I was at DVRs meeting, and as the other Lady that posted, we have a support group that meets out in Crofton at a library once a month.  Our next meeting is June 28.  Unfortunately I will not be here (will be in Texas on business), but I will tell the group leader Kelly about this post and hopefully she will chime in!

Ohhhh its all good!  I hadn't been to a meeting in a few month, so everybody looked new to me except for 2 people.  But yup, I will see you on Saturday at Jillys Party!
