you have my admiration.

I have been on liquids today.

I am amazed at how many food commericals are on tv
I am amazed at HOW GOOD Chicken NOODLE SOUP can smell from a can.

OMG!!  I swear I wanted to kill the fast food places with all those commercials. Hang tough its a bumpy ride. I had to even stop watching food network because it tormented me so badly.

Thanks Mellie.

AFAIK this is my only day I have to do it.

I have my final weigh in tomorrow (at least I hope it's my final weigh in) and i'm trying to dump water by going essentially carb free today...

Good luck to anyone who has to do a liquid diet. I know it must really suck. I can only imagine how the smells must effect you trying to do all liquids and the tv commercials cant help.
Good luck to all.

I think those of us who do it right before surgery have the added incentives of knowing how close we are - and what the "prize" is when we get to the day...  We also have an added bonus of knowing our surgeon WILL know if we cheated when he cuts us open, etc.

Just my thoughts...  By Day 4 of my 10 days people quit offering me food at least... LOL

i know the first 7 days of south beach were really hard...   and I know that if i had to keep doing this I could.
and i thought about eating last night but I have a goal and I want to get there.

now i'm just full of nervous knots and I don't know that i could eat even if I wanted to....

It was EXTREMELY hard to do liquids for 2 weeks, however I just keep focused and kept my eye on the prize. I knew it was the LAST time I would ever feel that way, and I am here to tell you it was soooooo worth it!

Good Luck!
