Sylvie......
You are so right! I can understand where you are coming from......when I had my surgery on the 26th, I spent the entire time in ICU for some heart issues. When they first told me, I lost it {which of course didnt help}, but I was so distraught.
Life is precious & we can never take one minute for granted.....even the ones where we want to strangle someone!

I can't even thinking about what I would miss... and what I have missed as I withdrew as my weight got higher and higher...

So let's focus on TODAY and tomorrow... and forget about the negatives in the past...

I won't even go there on the furniture - all that comes of moving it is a stubbed toe in my book!

Amen!  Sylvie you have such a great attitude. A lot of people could go through what you did and become very bitter, but not you! So many people in this world could learn a thing or two from you. You are truly a inspiration. At the end of the day, we all want the same things out of life. Thanks for sharing, Leslie:)

ahh don't make me blush. Watching your life flash in front of you makes one rethink one's priorities.

Sylvie are you sure you are not a therapist? You always speak so well and say all the right things at the very much needed time. I really appreciate your post. I went to see my Mom tonight she had a stroke sometime Sunday or Monday. I cant believe what I saw tonight. I stood there and realized that Life is very short and I was trying to figure how I would handle it when something happens to her to end her short life. My emotions are all over right now and I am shocked.. Thanks again..

Julie, that's really tough. I hope your mom makes it through with minimum damage/. My mom had a stroke when she was really young, I think not even in her early forties and you can abrely tell she ever had it. If she's really stressed out, her face on one side gets droopy but beyond that, she's good as new. I'll keep your mom in my thoughts; please keep us updated.
