I am thinking about switching from Hopkins to Washington Center because of the wait for surgery at Hopkins. I hear it is 4 months after approval from insurance and I really don't want to wait that long. Has anyone here had surgery at Washington Center and who was your doctor? Thanks.

What problems are you having honey? I didnt have to wait but I have insurance that didnt require the 6 month pre op diet. Most places may make you start over to adhere to their program. (((Hugs)))

Lap Band on 01/16/09

I had my surgery at Washington Hospital Center. Dr Finelli is the surgeon I had. He was great. I had the Lapband done. I can not speak on any other kind of surgery that he has done.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience. This is a journey and a major challenge. Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!
