Well I am sure the board will be quiet since most people are off but I need my daily Grateful

Today I am grateful that:
1. I celebrate my 2 year surgiversary this weekend!
2. That many of my friends are off today : hey I may have to work but I'm happy for those of you
who don't
3. ITS FRIDAY
4. That my surgiversary is Sunday so I can go to church and Thank God for his gift
of a complication free WLS
PS look for a " Reflections " Post sometime this weekend: I'm composing
bits and pieces in my head already

today I am making a pasta salad for a party tomorrow. here's a picture of an old one I made:
later we are going to the game store then to friends for dinner (which I am not thrilled about since I have NO controll over dinner and it's all carbs... rice and pot stickers)
tomorrow we have a party almost all day....

gratefuls:
1. I have today off
2. my daughter is a typical teen and does not get in trouble with the law and has now picked good friends.
3. I heard my husband up and showering so I know the day is off to a quick start...

Happy 2 year surgiversary!!!!! I am so proud of you Darla you have done such an awesome job. Keep it up girl. You have definitely come a long way, no more oxygen tanks, you are a gym rat girl you are always out and about. I am so glad you chose to take control of your health. You are truly an inspiration.
I hope you have a fabntastic weekend celebrating your new life!
Today I am grateful for:
1. That everyday I am feeling a lot better. Still a little slow getting around but 80T% better than last week for sure!
2. For my wonderful friends that checks up on me often.
3. That Gino is off today and the kids can enjoy a long weekend havinbg fun with their DAddy!
4. That I am home now and I get to post on my favorite daily grateful post again. Thanks Darla!

I was bummed for the first few days with Verizon, but there is a reason for everything so right now I am just trusting in God.
I am thrilled to be home and not driving that commute since last Friday. lol whoo hoooo!

1. It's been a nice week off, aside from the boss calling me for inane things - things that he's acknowledged could wait until Monday! And don't EVEN suggest that he misses me!!! I don't care, I just wanna be left alone!!!
2. That I think I'm going to see Becki at some point today. I need to call her, but I have some things for cute lil Hunter, so I'm hoping to catch up with her and see how she's doing. Poor thing, she's still having some esophageal swelling, and she's lucky if she can get in one meal a day. Definitely NOT the way she wanted to lose weight!!
3. That I have a kid-free weekend!!! Since tomorrow's a postal holiday, KB will be with one of their parents. I love my KB, but having them and two of their friends yesterday just about pushed me over the edge!!!!!
Darla - How's Cuddles's leg? Poor thing!! When I came home on Sunday, Happy passed out on my lap for about two hours!! LOL!!! Guess I was missed!

Cuddles is doing Ok : still a bit stiff in the one leg and I notice a couple times shes had
trouble making it up the two steps to the bedrooms. Thanks for asking
Also I'm sure your boss does miss you : I know the board has this week !
Happy just wanted to make sure you didn't leave again so she passed out on you so
you couldn't. I'm so happy Happy gets to go on vacation with you this year.

Kent Island is CHEAP so they did their fireworks last night. Of course I did not know this until they started going off and the dogs started freaking out. Surprisingly Rio did not do his usual tremble and pant routine, but all of them got to barking. yay!
Today, I'm grateful...
1. For day one of a three day weekend!!
2. That tomorrow is the 233rd anniversary of Independence Day. I pray that we have 233 more!!
3. For being able to sleep in my own bed. Took a multi-hour nap with my furbabies yesterday and had a nice long normal night of sleep!!
4. That Darla is celebrating 2 years of complication-free weight loss!! Congrats!!
