Back from the Beach
Hi all,
I'm the first one back from the beach and wanted to give a shout out to the beachers and a HUGE THANK YOU TO GAIL!!!! She has a beautiful home down in Bethany and was the most gracious hostess with the mostest. I'm soooo jealous of her place, it's georgeous and I think Gail should start an interior decorating business using pieces from Craig's List, Ebay, and Thrift Stores!
I think I speak for all of us when I say that we had a fabulous time. We got plenty of sun, had a TON of food, which we barely scratched the surface of (thank you WLS), did some shopping, had lots of laughs and awesome company! I will let others post pictures...mine didn't turn out that wonderfully.
Gail - you are the sweetest woman. I loved our conversations, had a wonderful time getting to know you better, and truly appreciate you offering up your home. THANK YOU.
Tia - what can I say...you ROCK!!! Love ya num yummy!!
Ren - you wild woman you! Had a ton of fun w/ya!
Darla - loved seeing you, lack of pedicure and all! LOL! Thanks for rolling the dice last night!
Debbie - you continue to inspire me and you are such a lovely soul!
Kathy - thank you for the education on Twilight...I just may read the books now. And MAN...you are ruthless in Trivial Pursuit...I love the faces you make! LOL!
Nessa - Phew man...you have so much freakin' energy...it was great getting to know you more. Hope your ankle is feeling better
I'm exhausted and am off to take a mini nap and then I get to pack for Newport News (leaving at THREE A.M.!!!).

What an AWESOME time! Again... thank you Gail for being so gracious and allowing us in your home! I had so much fun and was sad to see the weekend over. It is a memory I will cherish!

Thank you Gail for giving the women what was probably the best time in a long time. You are one of a kind. I look forward to any future get togethers you might have.
Ladies who were there, thank you for having a great time! I'm a little envious but I'm really glad you did have a great time.
And to think.......if it weren't for our journeys that we've embarked on, would we have had this kind of fun? This kind of camaderie? Having a "who cares attitude" when we used to care about what the people or ourselves thought of us?
I have been imagining that it might have been like a fountain of youth in Bethany Beach, and hoped that you were all giddy, giggly and just having a great time.
Thanks for the updates and letting me know you all have been getting home safely. Only because that means we might get to do it again! LOL!

WT, you took the words right out of my mouth!
I had the BESTEST time - it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO relaxing, even though I don't think any of us averaged more than 6 or so hours of sleep every night!
I even came home relaxed, which lasted until 11:35 a.m. on Monday, when my phone rang!
It was my boss, who had forgotten how to open MS Word on his computer after being off for a week! Oh, was I ticked!!!!
Regardless, I just felt such a sense of belonging with this group of women more than any other group I've been with.
We did really good on the eating, too, regardless of the fact that we took enough food to feed most third world countries!!!
And.....I only drank one bottle of wine!! Hence, no drunk calls!
Thanks especially to Gail for letting me sleep with her!!! Even if I was the one who would've taken one for the team had a burglar gotten in!!! LOL!!!
Everything about the weekend was absolutely beachy-keen!!
