Hi everyone. I am a new member looking to have surgery at Johns Hopkins. Has anyone had any experience with this hospital? Thanks.

Welcome and good luck with your journey!  There are plenty here that has used John Hopkins I am sure they will chime in.  Weekends are slow here so you might get more answers to your post on Monday.

Thanks. There is so much to learn and I want to be as informed as possible. I see you went to Dr. Von Reuden. I had a consultation with him, but wasn't able to afford his program fee. I am on disability and have three children. I am hoping that Johns Hopkins is more affordable. Any information would be helpful. Thanks everyone.

Hello. As I type I am in a room on the Bayview Campus. I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Magnuson. I really liked him & his staff. I am in a private room, with really decent nurses. Is very quiet here!
If I can offer more advice {when  I am not on morphine}, I will.
