3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY!

MY FRIDAY!!!  WOO-HOO!!!  I've got TONS to do today in the office, a softball game tonight and some cooking and packing to do.  All of my clothes are ready - I put them all in a laundry basket this weekend, just gotta get them into the suitcase.  Even if I'm not on here much today, I have my phone, so give a yell if somebody needs something.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  My parents - I've been so late leaving work the past couple of nights that I wouldn't be ready to go tomorrow unless they'd helped!!  Thank God!!!  Dad's done laundry and grocery shopping for me, and Mom did some ironing and some other things!!  Again, thank God!!!!!

2.  That there's a Target right up the street - Gotta run there at lunch time to pick up some last minutes.

3.  Today is pay day!  I can treat myself to a quick lunch and get what I need!

CIRA UPDATE:  I talked to her last night, Dr. Averbach wanted to try her on solid food (they gave her spaghetti!!!!!), she only ate the meat sauce and was immediately doubled over in pain.  So, it looks like, either today or tomorrow, she'll be having exploratory surgery.  She just wanted to go home, but Dr. A convinced her to stay.  She'll call me sometime today and I'll update everyone.

NOTE TO OTHER BELTWAY DRIVERS:  You are NOT qualifying, your last name is NOT Gordon and we're NOT in Daytona!  I'm REALLY sorry that my driving 80 mph in the fast lane isn't good enough for you!!  Holy cow, I don't know what's been wrong with people the last two days.  I mean, I have a lead foot, but there's simply no reason I should look up and see you in my backseat!!!!!  Funnily enough, when you get on my tail or blow your horn, it activates my brakes!!!  Back off!!!

oh damn sorry to hear about Cira.  I hope the surgery shows nothing too serious.

1. it's thursday for me...  one more sleep till the beach as the kids say
2. again with the flex time  I didn't get here till 8 this morning...
3. harley is starting to be BRIAN'S dog!
4. i'm not gaining (i'm not losing either sadly)

I am so sorry to hear about Cira. That girl just can't catch a break! Anyway, here's hoping this gets over and done with so that she can move forward, pain free. Wishing her only the best.

ATTENTION SOBEE LIFEWATER FANS - I happened to stop in Giant last night. They have Sobee Lifewater at buy one get one free. Since they normally sell at 10 for $10, it is like getting them for $.50 a piece!!!!! Giant sales normally run Thursday through Wednesday. So this will be the last day in case anyone wants to go out and get some!

DAMM - I have a dentist appointment later today. They told me that the dentist I have been working with did not renew her contract and will not be there. So now, I need to finish this procedure I am in the middle of with a new person.  I am not too keen on that, but what else can I do????

Today, I am grateful that.....

1 - Tomorrow is the beginning of a wonderful weekend! Thank you , thank you, thank you!!!!!!

2 - That I have a busy day planned with errands and getting ready for the weekend. So that will keep me out of food trouble. I have had 2 good consecutive days now. Since I tend to eat the worst when I am alone, I expect to do well over the weekend since I will have plenty of company!

3 - Anticipation - I am still waiting for my call and hoping it comes by tomorrow before leaving for the beach. I would really love to know that I will be working soon! They said they would call by the end of this week. My friend who works there, said they do not move fast. If I don't hear today, I will try and call them tomorrow AM.

Tia, Thanks for the update on Cira. I hope they can find out whats wrong. She has been through enough.. Glad its your payday and you are so lucky to have your Mom and Dads help. I am with you on the Nascar track people drive like crazy. I wonder where are the police when we need em? I am sure they are busy but man would it help if they got some of the crazies.

Julie, the police are not on the highways when Tia drives.  They just look the other way until she comes to work.  She has that kind of power  :)  Which means we can all drive 90 mph if she's on the road.  They'd hate to pull one of US over.  LOL

Good Morning all:

This is my Thursday  WOOHOO :  

1.  For the extra  computer mon. at work :  would have been nice if I could have gotten into that
office before 10:00 am  but I am now up and running

2.  That the beach is just 48 hours away :  Ren,  Kathy, and I should be there by 12ish Friday

3.  For the ability to take off Friday and know my wonderful coworkers will cover for me.

4.  That none of the ladies will care if I have a pedicure or not :  last night I got
terrible stomach pains on the way home from work and didn't make it to the
nail place :  so you all just ignore my naked feet LOL

I'll happily paint them for you - just no buffing, clipping, massaging, etc!!!!
