AYCE crabs and corn on the cob is $38.00 per person. They do have other food to order.

And I found this one, too!

I think most restaurants are now offering some combos that may or may not include crabs.

Um....did I mention I can't wait?

Tia, I have ate at Old Mill so many times and its great. I would highly recommend it. I do know that new owners have bought the place and I have not been there since. I am told it is the same and its located on Route 54 in Delmar. They have the AYCE and also you can order off the regular menu. I know you must be so excited... I can tell..

Thanks for the recommendation, Julie!  I always feel better when someone I know has been to a place that's new to me.

So.....you can PM me if you want (I'm still at work), but you haven't said ANYTHING about any consults with any surgeons or anything?  How's that going?  Have you decided on a surgeon yet?

Thanks again!

Hugs,

Tia

If you want delicious crabs go to Waverly crab house on Greenmount ave. Yummmmmmy! I love crabs, sends my pressure up but I just have to have them. Can I still eat them after surgery?

Yep, you can have crab after surgery.  It mushes down to practically nothing.  If I take my time (and I usually do because I'm running my mouth), I can do about 1-2 dozen myself!  Of course, we're talking over the course of about 3 hours.

The trick with ANY food post-op is to go slow, particularly with the high density foods (beef, chicken, etc.), and if it doesn't work, try it again in about 2 weeks or so.  It's a funny thing - what works one day might not the next and vice versa!

It's all about trial and error and being creative while maximizing your protein intake.

Tia

P.S.  And hopefully, after wls, your bp will go down!
