Harford County and Beyond Meetup TOMORROW

I've been meaning to ask you - after your 8 days (wow!) in the hospital, how are you?

I asked Nicole about you the day of or the day after your surgery, but she didn't have any info.

I'm sorry all of that happened to you, and hope you're on the road to recovery now!

You're so sweet! Sorry you aren't able to attend the meetup tonight...

I am fine spending my days trying to get in  the water and protein. It's a struggle I'm sure you are familiar with and some days are better than others.

As far as the hospital situation - my stay was the result of an elevated wbc of 29k (normal wbc is up to 12k) so they had me on two IV Antibiotics trying to prevent pnuemonia. I never developed pnuemo thank goodness. My wbc had dropped to 16k when they dc'd me with oral antibiotics.

Traci (Reedsmommy) has kept in touch with me, she loaned me a recliner that has been a true life saver. Somedays the recliner is the only way I can get comfortable (open incision).

I know it's hard to get in everything you're supposed to - it does get easier with time, believe me.

When we get back from the beach, I'll start working on another get-together and maybe you'll feel up to joining us!
