JP Drain Question

I know a lot of you had a JP drain.  Did anyone have a knot after the drain was removed?  Mine was removed last Thursday and it is of course still sore, but it feels like a knot under the steri strips.

Yes, this is the only scar of the six that has any visible scar tissue...a knot.

Thanks Heather!  I talked to Pat (the NP) at Schweitzer's office and she assured me it's normal.  I figured it was, but wanted to know just in case!  You know, after 2.5 years my band scars were not even visible.  Now that I'm revised I've got some new ones to deal with.  Thankfully he went in through most of the original ones, but I do have a new BIG on on my lower right side.  I think that's where he had to go in to remove all the scar tissue and separate my liver from my stomach! LOL  That sucker is SORE too!

Blech!!  My biggest pain was the one on my left side because that's where they said they did the most work.  It took a good 6+ weeks for it to totally go away.  It was like I had a cramp in my side forever!!
