Drains and showers

Has anyone showered while the drain was still in? I feel so icky. I took sponge showers but I really just want  to stand under a waterfall of warm water. Really, right now, the thought of shower is like, well, sex. That's how much I want it. I want sex too but sadly, at this moment, if offered both, I'd pick a shower.

How sad is that?

SARAN WRAP, BABY!!!!  Seriously, take a big piece, put it over your tummy, tape it up good, and as long as you don't hit the shower directly on it, you should be good to go.

I did it my first day home from the hospital every day until the drain came out at Day 10!

And, if you invite Jeff in to help you (you know, to make sure you're okay - lol!), then you can kill two birds with one stone!!!!

See?  Aren't I helpful?

Sylvie I covered my drain really good and got a shower. When I got out and took off the covering it was soaked. It really didnt make a difference because the gauze dried up afterward and it didnt hurt the drain. I say go for the shower.

oh good to know that too. The saran wrap and duck tape kept the water out pretty well :)
