I have my 1 month follow up appointment today (it actually been 5 weeks) I have lost 29 pounds since day of surgery. Is that about where I should be? I am worried that DVR will tell me that I need to do more.....eat better...exercise more! I walk a fast pace on the treadmill for 30 minutes every other night. Should I be doing more?

Okay, Angela, step BACK and READ what you've just written.  29 pounds in 5 weeks.  Holy cannoli!!  When's the last time you did that?

No rebukes from DVR, I can almost guarantee it.  As long as you're following his guidelines as closely as you can, I don't think you have a thing to worry about!!

Let us know how it goes!  And BREATHE!!!!!

Hugs,

Tia

Angela, apparently Tia hasn't had enough coffee yet - she meant Step back and Read.

BWA-HAA-HAA!!!!  Thanks for catching!!!  I'll fix it!!!  That's what I get for going back and forth between here, FB and the library's website before the coffee kicks in!!

LOL. You guys are great!!!! No. I haven't been able to lose 29 pounds in a year but I have so many friends that had the surgery and they tell me what they have lost and what they have been doing I making me think I'm screwing up. I do not exercise everyday.....I do not eat 6 small meals a day (I just can't!!!) I love my popcicles and hate the protein shake so I admit that I dont do a protein shake everyday.....I would be in the bathroom all day. But I seem to be getting by.....I do take all my vitamins everyday. I feel like I am going to the principal's office.

Let me know what he says .when i went he thought i should  of lost a little more than i did but he also said everyone is different and loses at different rates . im sure u will be fine.

I think this is a normal feeling!  No matter how much you lose, you think, but what could it have been...

No matter what your body is going to dictate your loss, fast or slow is not your choice... LOL

Do the best you can, and no one can ask for more!!

Everyone is different and everyone is going to lose different and DVR is well aware of that. 29 lbs in 5 weeks is awesome! Great Job!
