I'm just curious, the Catheter (to keep you from wetting urself)  when do they put that in? do they put that in once you're under anesthesia or .......?

Yep, you'll wake up with it having been inserted while you're under.  Mine came out the next day.

Mine was the same as Tia. I went to sleep and woke up with it in. And the pulled it out the next day with no pain.

I woke up with the Cath.  They removed it that night.  I didn't like having it in and kept complaining.  It made me have to pee.  In recovery, I kept telling the nurse I had to pee and she would say "Go ahead.  You have a catheter."  It just didn't feel right to pee in my bed.  LOL

I had one when I got out of surgery...  I vaguely remember it being removed in the middle of the night and getting up to pee right after but I was still to dopey then...  I am not a good one to ask!
