DARLA UPDATE

I mentioned one in Rosedale - Dr. Glenn Price. He used to be an anesthesiologist by day and pain management guy by night but he does the pain thing full time now.  PT made me so much worse and it took a while but he brought me back to being 'human.'  I went for a 'touch up' a few weeks back and we both laughed when we realized my folder had been archived since it had been so long.  I like and respect him so much I trusted him to do TWO epidurals on me, with no floroscope (SP?)

I had never even heard about a pain management doctor before until it was mentioned today!  I can look into the one in Rosedale, but for now I'll get into see Walt at Life Fitness for PT. You'd love him, VERY tall, built and bald.  He's my "back Daddy" LOL  And actually, I'm feeling a bit better now that I'm home, took pain meds throughout the night, been doing PT stretches I learned from past trips to PT, and have been icing my back on and off.  As for what's worse, it's all bone/nerve pain so they are ALL the worst!  I'd take another round of surgery with Dr. Schweitzer instead of dealing with this!

I think my issue with PT was they hooked me up to traction... NEVAH again!  Stretches = good, traction = bad in my book.

Hijack:  Heather I've never met you in person but suddenly I don' t like you.  Your opening sentence has me listening to DIXIE CHICKS over and over and over in my head. LOL

Ang!  When I first started reading your sentence I was wondering what I could have said! LOL  Then I got to the second half of the sentence and realized you weren't serious.  After I typed that originally I actualy started singing that song over and over in my OWN head! LOL Sorry!!!

LOL too funny! It's all good, I like them a lot. Now I'm just bummed I didn't bring my IPOD to work.  :)

Ummmmmmmmm............mine wasn't nasty!  And NO, I DON'T want any details of yours!!!  But let's hope hers is successful and that there's little after effects!

ya know Tia,  I've noticed that in EVERYTHING you and I do we have completely OPPOSITE responses!

Which just goes to show that everyone's different!!!!  You'll see that even more clearly after wls - even though we'll have the same surgeon, no two surgeries are alike!
