Hello everyone, I have been in PA since last week and have no computer up there. I am trying to catch up on everything and now am worried to death. My Father in law is having emergency surgery tomorrow for not one but 2 hernias. I am scared since he hasn't had surgery for along time and has COPD and Emphysema. I am asking that you all please keep up in your thoughts and prayers. I am also in need of surgery myself and have been putting it off. I will try to plan it for sometime next week or the following. I hate surgery but it must be done. I miss all of you when I am away. I have friends in PA but they cant compete with all of you... Thanks so much for all your support and love...

Wow! Julie, that's a lot of stuff to worry about!! I'm sure your FIL's doctors are taking his pre-existings into account, and that he'll be monitored closely.

As far as putting off your own surgery, well, only you can decide on that. If the issue is particularly bothersome, I wouldn't put it off. In the long run, you could be sorry!

Yea Tia I know you are so right. Female stuff thats what the surgery is for. You know thats always so much fun.. NOT! I will try to take care of it before the end of month...Thanks.
