3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!
Thank ful for so many things
1. My family and friends, for being here and for caring. My sister drove me around yesterday so I could get out of the house and is taking me to the follow-up appointment today. A friend picked me up when I was released from the hospital and another friend spent Saturday at my house with me and my family. I would not have felt it was different form any other weekend if not for the drains hanging from my sides.
2. A flatter stomach. The doc took a bunch of the loose skin off during the surgery. Not completely a washboard stomach but gets me closer to my goal.
3. The weather. It's been nice, at least during the days, so hopin it stays that way for a little while longer.

Morning all! PHEW...what a weekend! Thankd God I'm the boss and can sleep in and work from home when I need to!
Today, I'm grateful...
1. For having the energy to stay up all night Friday night on very little sleep the night before and then also have a very long day on Sunday! It would have been VERY difficult for me to do pre-op!
2. For Ren having organized the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Pants team for the Relay for Life. As everyone has already said, it was a very moving and meaningful night on many levels. The company was AWESOME and thank you to this site for bringing us all together!!
3. For an awesome concert last night. We had to endure some teenie bopperish bands first and the teenie boppers that went along with them. The ridiculousness of it all was amazing...underage drinking...making fools of themselves...puking and passing out and needing to be removed by Nissan Pavillion's Medical Team (YEP...that happened)...the fights almost breaking out...and it was all worth it to see No Doubt in the end. I'm in awe of Gwen Stefani for both her beautiful voice and her beautiful body that does NOT look like she's had 2 children...BEYOTCH...LOL!!
Have a great day everyone!!

Hey, if you had Gwen's money and her resources, you could look like that, too! Not saying she doesn't work hard, I'm sure she does, but it's easier when someone's shopping and cooking for you and probably there every day to make sure you work out!!
Glad you had fun, especially at the Relay! A friend of mine from hs mentioned that she saw your team!
When someone says "concert" to me, I'm immediately transported back to my hs days, and it conjures up the smell of pot!!! LOL!!! I never smoked it, but you could definitely get a contact high! Dating myself here....my first concert was Billy Squier and Triump!!! LOL!!! And yes, I had perfectly feathered hair!!!

Oh...I totally agree...that's true for all the stars who get their bangin' bodies back after child birth!
You need to join the team next year! It was too much fun and I can guarantee all of us are looking forward to Beach Weekend!! We talked about it quite a bit!
OH yeah...as soon as it got dark the smell of post was in the air! I don't think I've ever been to one that didn't have it. My first concert is a little strange since I didn't live in the U.S. for the first 3 years of high school...it was the Monkees reunion tour in 1986-87!!! It was cool though...music I grew up with from my parents!
