...of the women from the OH board that joined me in The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Pants!! You ladies are great! I appreciate all the support you gave me, the money you raised and the fun, laughs and conversation last night.

Deb, Kathy, Darla, Heather, Candy and (also) Dianna ... gave me a night to remember and cherish!

Thank you ladies for stepping up and being The Sisterhood. I hope you all got some much needed sleep. Yes Darla, you DID stay up ALL night! WTG!

I was honestly suprised that everyone stuck it out, all night. I thought I'd get to slide out around 3 or 4 a.m. but these ladies had STAMINA, and COMMITTMENT... although Deb did say something about being committed! LoL

Between Deb, Heather, Kathy and myself, we had enough costume changes for the Spirit Laps to fill an entire costume store!  We are ladies of MANY MANY hats!!!!

I couldn't be prouder of all of you and happier that your dedication made me overcome my own exhaustion and made me stick it out.   Thank you for all of your help, support and friendship. I cherish each and every one of you!

Candy popped in for a short time after work and that was wonderful! I know how tired she must have been from working so much lately!

Heather, I was very happy to see you were the first one to post on the boards today.  I was a bit concerned about your long drive home with being awake all night!

Kathy, thanks for your help carrying the things I am too weak to carry! and for the laughs!

And thanks Mom (our team survivor who went home at 9:30 p.m.) for bringing me and Kathy coffee at 5:30 a.m.!!!!  You really do rock!

You ladies give me so much more than you realize!  I am proud of you for all your efforts. Thank you for your friendship!

xoxox,
Ren

Thanks!  That is my goal Heather!  Since it's walking, I just feel like it's something we all need to do *and I should have done so much more than I did*.... but especially after wls!  So if our walking and donations can support a very worthy cause such as the American Cancer Society.... then I'm all for it!

Maybe you'll join The Sisterhood next year?   We'd love to have you!

All you have to do is read and respond!

Thank you... We do try and post most events here.  A shame that there isn't a MD
Forum just for events though; even a calendar!!

Ren:

I would have posted earlier but I was again without internet most of the day.

Cuddles was so Happy to see me   I was the first person in their door at 8:00 am.

I too am proud of all of us:  but most especially you Ren who.

1,  had the idea in the first place

2.  got a team together

3.  decorated our camp site:  although No one slept. LOL

So I came home dealt with Cuddles and got a few hours sleep.  Then it was
out again with Kathy for a movie ( which she fell asleep during) LOL and a quick
dinner before coming home to take another 2 hour nap. LOL

All in all in was a wonderful night/day.  You are4 right preop I would have been
ready for bed before the evening got started.

Yes I do plan to do this again next year:  maybe next year we can get more
people to join the fun.  Kathy had a great idea for a  fundraiser during the event:
I would not bake them but would love helping to sell SUGAR FREE desserts.

Deb, Kathy, Heather and Candy :  thanks for the socializing with me and
keeping me awake and laughing all night :  Really looking forward
to the weekend of the 26th:

Ren and Kathy:  pick out some CDS for the car ride down:  but please
nothing hard rock or Reggae:  sorry all you would have had to be
there last night to understand.

Getting ready for bed so have a good night all :  and I'm heading to work
tomorrow so I will check the board there.

Great! What kinds of music do you listen to?  I'm really looking forward to our weekend and appreciate the offer of a ride!

I can imagine your cuddles jumping up and down to greet you, happily yapping a hello to 'mommy'!

Thanks for the compliment... there was a short time that I was worried that I couldn't pull it off; getting people to join our team.  I'm glad that wasn't the case. I was also really worried when my muscle informed me that he would be out of town.  Thank goodness it wasn't bad at all.  I appreciate all the help getting the camp ground.

I'm really looking forward to next year too!! Woot Woot!
