MELLIE UPDATE!

Mellie just called me and asked me to update all of you.  She was on her way home from the hospital, where she was rushed on Thursday to have her band removed.  She was in Walmart and was in such excruciating pain that Marty demanded Dr. Singh not wait to see her until Monday.  Way to take charge, Marty!!!  Once Dr. Singh was in there, he said her stomach had swelled up around the band, and there was a lot of pus around it, and the band HAD to come out. 

She's on her way home as I type this, with a drain, and sees Dr. Singh on Thursday for a follow up and the drain removal.

So give a gentle hug to our Mellie!!  Poor thing!!!  Hugs, Mel!!

I'm sorry to hear that she had to go through so much and lose her band. But glad to hear that they found what the issue was and hopefully Mellie will feel better soon.

Well that's just awful. Hope Mellie is feeling better and on the mend now!

Oh my goodness! Glad that Marty took control & got her in there! I am sooo sorry she had to go thru this! But I am glad to hear she is on her way home.

I am so glad she DEMANDED.I think it's sad that they didn't pay attention to her complaints before this. I am glad she got it taken care of and is on her way to recovery!
