12 week post op appointment (whine)

I psyched myself up for this, got there 10 minutes early and Dr. Averbach was running at least 2 hours late - he was STILL in surgery at 3:30pm.

So I left and rescheduled for June 25th...  ugh!

I did weigh in, I am down another 4 pounds....  

BOO-YAY!!!  Um..........................................couldn't they have called you???  That's a bit strange!!  Next time, call before you leave to go there, see if they can tell you if he's running behind or not.

Well....I guess an " I'm sorry" and "congrats" are both in order here!

Wow, I sure wish offices would call when that happens.

But on the upside - 4 lbs. WOOT WOOT!!!

This is the first time it has happened to me - and to be honest it is understandable when he does two surgeries in the morning before appointments. 

I honestly didn't know whether to be irritated by it or worried about the person causing the delay in surgery...

First off, congrats on the loss.
And it sucks that they didn't call you about the delay

Are you posting from the hosptial???  Or am I missing something here??? I pray you are not home yet!

yes I am still at the hospital, even though I wish they had dischardes me last night

I get to go sometmg later this morning

From you typing skills *grins* I am assuming they have good drugs in you... *grins*
Maybe it is best they kept you - guessing them good drugs won't be so good once you get outta there!
