UPDATE ON SISTERS DOG
Well I just received another call : Its been confirmed - Scruffy has Cancer again:
please keep them in your prayers ; they have a very big decision facing them :
not to mention that my brother in laws father is in the hospital for at least 10 days -
and his mother has a broken foot - He is staying with her and said he got about
1 hour sleep last night - I would not like to be in their place right now -
I am going to go over tonight and try and calm my sister down : she is a basket case
and my niece is naturally right there with her.

The vet says there is one more treatment they can try : but not starting for 2 weeks:
Julie, Brad and Jessie have that long to decide what to do.
I need to get over there: Brad isn't home - that is right I said that before: and Julie quite
frankly sounds like hell. Jessica is taking pictures of Scruffy for a scrapbook.

Oh that is so sad about Scruffy having Cancer. Your poor sister and niece. I will keep everyone in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
Hugs,
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Thanks to all of you : Julie was a bit calmer when I saw her but both she and Jessie
had tears welling at dinner: Julie said the vet has one other form of chemo they can try:
much stronger meds and she may not tolerate it well. Julie said they are going to
try one treatment and see how she does with it. Its so sad: Scruffy is only 7
and does not seem to be in pain at all: Julie said shes acting like nothing is wrong:
Running around playing and dancing on her rear legs while she is getting dinner ready.
I gently suggested not doing anymore chemo but she looked at me with tears in her
eyes and said "What if it were Cuddles?" I had no answer.
Again thanks everyone - I'll forward Julie a link so she can see this.

Darla, so sorry about the dog. Its so hard since all of our pets are like our children. I hope for the best and wish your sis and family well. I hope you can calm your sis down as I am sure I would be a basket case too.. I wish all involved peace and I am sending prayers their way...Good luck..
