MORE OT: HAVE I LOST MY MIND?!
Tia.....
Girl, you need a valium? LMAO......
She will be fine, as all have stated. It will be a fun filled day for her that she will thank you for it a gazillion times!
As a mom, whether it be a biological mom, an adopted mom, a surrogate mom, or whatever type.....you will have a billion and two moments that will make you cry, make you anxious, make you pull your hair out even! But all you can do is have faith that what you have taught her will guide her through safely!
Tia, you have been an awesome "mom" to those kids, and if I am right, you have installed nothing but great qualities into them......she will remember every word you say to her before she leaves, & yes, she will be fine!
~hugs~

No Matter How I May Change, I Will Still Be ME!!!!
Ok, MOM Tia! It will be fine. Kayaking is very cool. If I can do it and not be scared, K can do it. Especially in a tandem kayak, she will be OK. I am sure they will put life vests on them (required safety measure). I have kayaked out of the Dundee Creek / Hammerman area of Gunpowder and many of the creeks are so shallow that you can stand up if you fall out. Even so, I have never fallen out. I recommend water shoes. She will get wet getting in and out of the kayak. She will need water, sunglasses, sunblock, bug spray (depending on the day), a towel, a hat. Zip lock bags are great for holding anything that she is taking on the kayak that she does not want to get wet. There are elastic straps to hold her supplies, but not a ton of room.

LOL You know what an absolute TARD I am about not letting Kylie stray from my side when we are out in public - she's 4 for God sakes. I can't stand to see kids wandering stores or down the street by themselves when they have no business doing it. Just two days ago an 8 year old got run over and killed outside of my gf Kim's house. His parents had NO idea where he was, just knew he was outside playing somewhere. Um, 8 years old to me means 2nd or 3rd grade. Sorry, when Kylie is 8 she can play outside with me outside supervising! Too many freaks in this world anyway to not know where your kid is. Anyway, off the soapbox! K will be fine despite what recently happened up there. Plenty of supervision, life preservers will be used I'm sure, and lots of people. You can always kayak right beside her tandoming with B!!!!
