OT - what would you think?
My first reaction is.... LOSER!!!
Not only to the fact that they are related....
But I'd ask her seriously what she sees in him, and find out why she doesn't think she deserves better. Find out what she is attracted to in guys.
For remaining friends with her.... it would be a lot of girls night ONLY. I wouldn't allow him in my home regardless of my friendship with her.
Hopefully this will be a short-lived relationship and when it's over you can ask her what the hell she was thinking.
Just my two cents worth.

Hopefully that wont last, but when that time comes, don't make it worse and say "I told you so." because that is what I'd do then I'd make things worse!!! lol
Actually no matter who he is or how good/bad the traits, the fact is that they are first cousins. If they are sleeping together, and she ends up pregnant, are they prepared to make a decision to abort? If not, are they prepared to potentially raise a severely disabled child?
My great grandparents were first cousins, had 10 kids and most had physical AND mental difficulties. Some even died as a toddler due to these disabilities.
