Good idea, but I hate calling the insurance company for 'small' stuff....... Besides I looked at it again today and the wire is not all that bad.  We'll probably just let it go but then strongly advise them to STAKE their s**t down!   but it will fall on deaf ears I'm sure.

Okay, so the next time something of theirs comes to visit (unless it's breathing), put a "For Sale" sign on it!!!  Make them BUY it back from you!!!

My sister "lost" theirs in the last big storm they had - they found it about a block away - in someone's garden and their metal posts holding up the fence to keep deer at poked a BIG home right in the center!

I suspect SOMETHING needs to hold them down if this is happening so much!!

Wonder if they would get offended if you put a printout of this in their door?  Or better yet, attach a receipt of your fence repair bill to it and then leave it!

Hey Ang!  Funny thing; same thing happened to us!  Neighbors tramp flew over their fence and landed in our yard and street.  WIERD thing is their pool (one of those insta-set pools with the inflatable top ring) also got blown up on their fence...it HAD been full of water.

Revised to VSG (6/11/09) weighing 253...

Wow, I'm amazed that a pool full of water could move like that!

And another funny thing - we had left our outdoor patio umbrella in the open position. The winds picked it up, out of the pole stand, thru the table, etc. and deposited it on the other side of the fence in the common area. BUT an empty soda can that was left on the table didn't budge.

Wind is strange...
