I'm not eating "bad" today, because . . .

I usually only put two things on my plate also. However I had company over for dinner on Sunday and wanted a taste of everything I made.

I was talked into Old Country Buffett the other nigh and had to really work to not put too much on my plate for the first time....

I had a half of piece of meatloaf on there, a bite of Terryaki Chicken, a small pile of baked beans (2 bites...) and a bit of taco meat with a few black olives and sour cream. (and left more than half of it)

Definately not worth the $25 for the two of us since Lee eats their roast beef, fried chickn and mashed potatoes...  I am pretty sure I could have bought all the meat and cooked it all at home in full family sized portions for less than the $25...  but it is all about conveinence...

Won't be talked into that again soon!  Just not worth the money to me, and none of it tasted as good as a I remembered it before surgery!  BUT I was in good control, and nothing sat bad, didn't eat to much, and didn't feel sick!

It's kind of hard to NOT be a member of the Clean Plate Club when you were raised that way and were a practicing member for SO MANY years!!  I still find myself in that mentality but am learning that if I don't stop when I feel full, I'm going to be in pain.  And I've learned it the hard way!

I wish I had learned that by now, but mine has a slight delayed reaction, so just because I feel fine at this moment, doesn't mean in 20 minutes that I will feel the same way.  Aren't you doing relay for life this weekend?

Oh believe me...I still do it, especially if I'm eating too fast!!

Yes, I am doing the Relay for Life with the Sisterhood.  I decided to take the day off on Friday so that I can rest up!

No...I didn't get any donations actually...even though I put it out on facebook twice.  Oh well, it wasn't much so I'll make it up myself!
