What a nightmare!!!

Geez!  Ok freaking Carefirst will not authorize me to go to st. agnes for my GI because I have to go to a freestanding location. So after about 20 calls back and forth from his office she got me an appt on wed at seton imaging. of course thats the one day i cant go this week because my daughter is getting an award at school that she doesnt know about, so i call them and the next appt they have is for thursday at 9 am. great gotta get child care now to get my kid on the bus because i will have to leave here at freaking 745 to get there in time. does it mean anything at all to these people when the docs say asap?

Oh, I am so sorry you are experiencing all of this. Unfortunately, in this day and ago, no one looks at the big picture any more to see the total cause and effect of their actions. They only look with blinders at the one little piece they have to do. They would feel much differently if it was them in this situation I am sure.

Unfortunately, that's the issue with some insurances - THEY choose the providers, NOT you.  Wish I could help with your school bus situation.
