oy i am in worse shape than I thought..  I did 2 laps (4 lengths) in our 25 yard pool before my arms started to cramp.  so i thought i'd stop.  i'll do 4 laps tomorrow.   and sunday
maybe 6 on Monday!

baby steps... it's a start!! I need to get my ass movin too. I've just been stressed out trying to get my damn approval. I almost thought about gaining 40lbs so I could be "fat enough" for VSG lol. Isn't that terrible?

Just going and trying is a huge accomplishment. I remember what my first time was like on the treadmill - pretty scary. But over time, to my surprise, I began to be able to do a little more and then more again. Congratulations on taking this important step for yourself! Keep up the good work!

Hell, just closing the front door behind me is a big step  Baby steps. You know it will work.  Maybe a combination of activity.  Dont look at it as exercise.  I  look at activity, walking, biking etc.
I was a GYM RAT for 2 hrs daily 4 -5 days a wee****il my Doc put a stop to it.  Saved my WLS program.

I'm happy for you! I need to follow your lead and get my lazy ass to join the gym - at work it's practically free but I have to take those steps and as someone put it "close the door behind me."

way to go!!!  I have a gym membership here in Reisterstown, I am focusing on getting my shoulders back to something useable, and now my knee. It is tough, i know, but keep at it. Pools are great, keeps the stresses down on the joints.
